On Saturday September 1, 2007 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, The Mark Baker Foundation will sponsor the first annual skill development and life enrichment clinic for JV and Varsity male and female basketball players. The workshop is a joint effort between Mark Baker, Mark Baker Foundation Founder and Dauquan Cook, Miami Heat NBA rookie. The event will be held at Dunbar High School and Wogaman Elementary School. Registration for the event will be held Thursday August 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Dayton Urban League at 907 West Fifth Street.

We endeavor, through our comprehensive programs, to create a citizen who not only succeeds, but who reaches back into this community to help others. Further, our long–range goals are to replicate this program in other communities.
Let’s make Dayton the model! Let’s make it the community that other cities look to for the answer in helping our young people!
